“Knowledge Management within the Organization to Become a Learning Organization and Improve Work Methods”

January 27, 2025 The Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, RUTS, has organized the “Knowledge Management within the Organization to Become a Learning Organization and Improve Work Methods, First Session” at the Taptim 1 Conference Room. The event was graced by Assoc. Prof. Chaiya Thanaphatsiri, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, who presided over the opening ceremony, with support from faculty and administrative staff.

This initiative aims to develop the potential of personnel at all levels, encouraging active participation in knowledge exchange, fostering a collaborative work atmosphere, and advancing the organization toward sustainable excellence.

Key Activities of the Event:

  • “Operations of Support Divisions to Drive Vision and Core Values”
    Assoc. Prof. Chaiya Thanaphatsiri shared essential concepts on how effective collaboration and teamwork can drive organizational success.
  • Workshop on “Learning Organizations and Effective Work Methods”
    A session designed to allow participants to exchange ideas and brainstorm, providing concrete strategies to build a learning organization.
  • CoP5 “Management” and CoP8 “Support Operations”
    Led by Mr. Anukoon Nantarputh, Head of the Dean’s Office, the session focused on knowledge sharing and operational techniques within the support divisions to improve collective efficiency.
  • “Knowledge Management 4.0 and Learning Organizations”
    Mr. Chanathip Leenin, Head of the Academic Services Unit, presented insights into knowledge management in the digital era, highlighting the role of technology in creating a learning organization.
  • “Developing Information Systems for Work Improvement: Case Study on Student Development and Alumni Relations”
    Mr. Eksakda Songsang, Head of Student Development and Alumni Relations, demonstrated how information technology can enhance the efficiency and organization of operations.

This event represents a significant step toward achieving the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology’s goal of becoming a “Learning Organization,” where all staff levels are empowered to share knowledge, develop their capabilities, and collectively drive the organization to sustainable success. The Faculty plans to continue organizing Knowledge Management (KM) activities to foster a long-lasting learning culture.
