On December 20, 2024, Associate Professor Chaiya Thanaphatsiri, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), visited the student team and staff to offer encouragement and honorably presided over the closing ceremony of the “Volunteer Teacher Craft Camp for Community Development” project, held at Ban Yuan Yang School, Bang Klam District, Songkhla Province.

The project took place from December 19-20, 2024, with the aim of developing the community and promoting the use of craft-related knowledge for societal benefit. Activities within the project included creative recreational activities for students, electrical system repairs both inside and outside the buildings, maintenance of infrastructure, and relationship-building activities between the community members.

The success of this project was driven by the collaboration between students, the student club team, and faculty members from the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, who applied their craft skills to provide tangible benefits to the school and the community. This project serves as an excellent example of how knowledge and skills can be applied to create lasting value for the community.
