On August 25, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), led by Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanapatsirisri, Dean of the Faculty, along with faculty members from the Electrical Engineering program, welcomed the Regional Training Division 3, Human Resource and Innovation Development Department of the Provincial Waterworks Authority (PWA) for the joint implementation of the project under the course “Solar Rooftop Design & Efficiency Analysis” (Batch 1/68).
The project aims to prepare and enhance the capabilities of PWA staff in understanding rooftop solar power generation systems, including system design, efficiency evaluation, and practical application. It supports the PWA’s initiatives to expand solar rooftop installations nationwide. This collaboration represents a significant step in integrating academic knowledge with public service workforce development, promoting sustainable energy, and elevating the standards of the Provincial Waterworks Authority in the long term.
