On August 19, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, led by Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanaphatthanasiri, Dean, along with administrators and staff, warmly welcomed Prof. Ir. Dr. Rizalafande Che Ismail, Deputy Vice Chancellor for Research & Innovation from University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). The visit coincided with the ongoing Visiting Lecturer program, during which Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Phaklen Ehkan is teaching from August 17–30, 2025.
During the visit, both parties held a meeting to discuss potential avenues for future academic collaboration, including research, teaching, and curriculum development, aimed at enhancing academic capacity and promoting sustainable international knowledge exchange.
Following the discussion, Prof. Ir. Dr. Rizalafande Che Ismail was guided on a tour of the Faculty’s facilities, including the Electrical Engineering Laboratory, Mechatronics Laboratory, and Mass Communication Laboratory, showcasing the Faculty’s strengths in teaching and research, and providing opportunities for in-depth academic exchange.
