On August 18, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, led by Associate Professor Dr. Chakraphong Jitchamnong, Deputy Dean for Administration and Planning, along with administrators and staff, warmly welcomed Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Phaklen Ehkan from the Faculty of Electronic Engineering & Technology, University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). He visited as a Visiting Lecturer under the teaching exchange program aimed at enhancing language proficiency, held from August 17–30, 2025 at the Faculty.
During his visit, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Phaklen Ehkan will teach and share knowledge with students across four programs: Mechatronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications and Network Systems (Continuing Program), and Petroleum Technology.
In addition, he will participate in co-teaching sessions with faculty members, including Mr. Thanat Thanasawapol (Mechatronic Engineering) and Mr. Suebsai Suksong (Electrical Engineering), fostering collaboration and practical learning experiences.
The Visiting Lecturer program aims to enhance English language competency among faculty, facilitate the exchange of teaching experiences with international instructors under existing MOUs, and introduce innovative teaching methods such as co-teaching and micro-teaching. The program also promotes an international learning environment and encourages informal knowledge sharing between the two institutions.
This activity represents a significant step for the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology in advancing educational quality and research to international standards, while strengthening sustainable academic networks and collaborations worldwide.
