On August 4, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology (FIET) at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) participated in the opening ceremony of the 16th RMUTS University Sports Competition, “Dok Piab Games”, presided over by Professor Dr. Suwat Thanyaros, President of RUTS, at the university sports field in Songkhla. The FIET delegation, led by Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanaphatsiri, Dean, included administrators, staff, and students.
The internal sports event, held from August 3–9, 2025, was organized by the Faculty of Liberal Arts under the leadership of Assistant Professor Dr. Boonrit Omni, Dean of Liberal Arts. The games aimed to promote student participation in diverse activities, enhance physical and mental well-being, foster discipline, teamwork, and social skills.
The “Dok Piab Games” also served as a platform for friendship and collaboration among faculties, colleges, and campuses, and as a selection venue for athletes representing the university in national competitions. Additionally, the university established a fund to reward outstanding athletes who bring honor to the institution.
