On July 25, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology (FIET), RUTS organized a Fire Safety and Evacuation Training Program to equip staff and students with the knowledge and preparedness to respond effectively to fire emergencies.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanapatsiri, Dean of FIET, with faculty administrators, staff, and students attending at the Chuphant Conference Room, FIET, RUTS.
The program included lectures on fire prevention, survival strategies during a fire, and practical demonstrations on fire extinguisher use and emergency evacuation drills, aiming to enhance participants’ skills and understanding of proper safety procedures.
This initiative emphasizes fostering a safety-conscious culture within the faculty, ensuring that staff and students can respond efficiently to emergencies, minimize risks, and maintain a secure learning and working environment.
