FIET, RUTS Hosts Idea Pitching Competition to Empower Students for Real-World Business at SEAMILA SAND WALK Festival

On July 23, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology (FIET), RUTS, in collaboration with Smurfs and Friends Company, organized an Idea Pitching competition for students. The event aimed to select student representatives to sell their products or services at the SEAMILA SAND WALK Tourism Festival, scheduled for July 26–27, 2025. Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanapatsiri, Dean of FIET, presided over the opening ceremony at Room 71307, FIET.

The competition attracted students from various faculties, including FIET, the Faculty of Liberal Arts, and the Faculty of Architecture. Each team presented creative business ideas through a pitching format, showcasing products, services, and preliminary business plans with potential for real-world application.

The judging panel included Mr. Alawi Hassani, Deputy Dean for Student Development, Assistant Professor Dr. Phattira Klinleka, Assistant Dean, and representatives from Smurfs and Friends, Ms. Wachiraporn Rattanurai and Mr. Tankwan Tatsanabut.

The event served as a platform to nurture new-generation entrepreneurs, blending creativity with practical business skills. It also provided students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and prepare confidently for entrepreneurship in the modern business landscape.
