On July 17, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology (FIET) organized the Wai Khru Ceremony to honor and pay respects to teachers for the 2025 academic year. Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanaphatthasiri, Dean of FIET, presided over the ceremony, attended by faculty members, staff, and students at the Chuphan Meeting Room, FIET, RUTS.
The ceremony included paying homage to the Triple Gem, the traditional Wai Khru ritual, student pledges, and the anointing of textbooks and teaching materials for good fortune. The anointing was performed by Assistant Professor Piya Prasongchan, Vice President of RUTS.
This event is part of FIET’s efforts to instill ethics, moral values, and the culture of respect for teachers, which are essential for nurturing graduates who possess both knowledge and virtue in the true spirit of teacher education.
