On July 16, 2025, The Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology (FIET), RUTS, warmly welcomed a study visit group from Bangkaew Vocational College, Phatthalung Province, consisting of first-year vocational certificate (V.C.E.) students majoring in Electronics, along with their supervising teachers. Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanapatsiri, Dean of FIET, together with Associate Professor Dr. Thanas Nontaput, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Research, program heads, and lecturers from the Telecommunications and Network program (continuing education), participated in the reception.
The visit was divided into two main groups:
Group 1: Electronics – Engaged in hands-on activities such as internet cabling, installation and testing of fiber optic systems, and LAN cabling to enhance understanding of basic network systems.
Group 2: Industrial Engineering – Focused on learning production processes, factory equipment, and the practical application of technology in real industrial settings.
In addition, the FIET management presented souvenirs to the visiting group as symbols of friendship, collaboration, and strong institutional relations.
This study visit represents an important step in promoting experiential learning outside the classroom, providing vocational students with exposure to higher education environments, and inspiring the sustainable development of professional skills.
