Petroleum Technology Program Organizes Workshop to Enhance Technical Competence in Instrumentation and Control Maintenance for First-Year Students

On July 14, 2025, the Petroleum Technology Program, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology (FIET), Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), organized a workshop on developing technical competence in instrumentation and control maintenance for first-year students. The program was officially opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jakkapong Jitjamnong, Deputy Dean for Administration and Planning, together with the program head, lecturers, and first-year students at Room 71803, 8th Floor, Integrated Learning and Laboratory Building (Building 71).

The workshop, held during July 14–18, 2025, aimed to equip first-year students with knowledge and understanding of maintenance principles for instrumentation and control systems, as well as to prepare them for professional competency assessments conducted by external organizations. This initiative helps students build essential skills necessary for their future careers.

This activity is part of the program’s mission to enhance students’ practical capabilities in petroleum technology, focusing on knowledge building, skill development, and fostering confidence in real-world operations.
