Faculty of Industrial Education, RUTS Hosts “Senior Guides Juniors Up Tang Kuan Hill” to Foster Warm Bonds Among New Students from Six Programs

On June 27, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), organized a bonding activity titled “Senior Guides Juniors Up Tang Kuan Hill” as part of FIET Orientation Week 2025. The event provided new students the opportunity to pay respects at the revered Phra Chedi or the Great Stupa of Songkhla and to strengthen the connection between senior and junior students within the faculty.

The project aimed to promote unity, foster a spirit of cooperation, and cultivate a positive culture of living and learning together on campus. Additionally, it offered new students a chance to experience the local culture of Songkhla Province and build lasting networks that will support their academic and social journey.

The ceremony was honored by Asst. Prof. Chaiya Thanaphatsiri, Dean of the Faculty, who presided over the event at Tang Kuan Hill, Mueang District, Songkhla Province. The activity brought together freshmen from six academic programs:

  • Industrial Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechatronics Engineering
  • Mass Communication Technology
  • Petroleum Technology
  • Telecommunications and Network Systems (Continuing Program)

The atmosphere was warm and friendly, reflecting the faculty’s commitment to creating a supportive and sustainable learning community across all student levels. This event also highlighted the institution’s culture of strong interpersonal bonds and the genuine passing down of values such as unity and solidarity from one generation to the next.
