On June 23, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), organized an orientation for students participating in the Cooperative Education and Work-Integrated Learning (CWIE) Program for Semester 1/2025. The event was held for students in the Telecommunications and Network Systems (Continuing Program) at the Chuphan Meeting Room, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology Building.
The event was presided over by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanat Nontaphut, Deputy Dean for Academic and Research Affairs, who delivered the opening remarks. Asst. Prof. Ruttai Prathumthong, Assistant Dean and Head of the Professional Training Unit, provided an overview of the project’s objectives.
The primary aim of the orientation was to prepare students for their upcoming work placements in real-world enterprises. It covered essential knowledge, role expectations, relevant regulations, and codes of conduct. Furthermore, it emphasized the development of a positive work attitude and professionalism in collaborating with external organizations.
The target group for this program includes 72 students from the continuing program who will be undergoing cooperative training from June 30, 2025, to February 15, 2026. This initiative plays a vital role in equipping students with the necessary skills and confidence to transition successfully into the workforce.
