On June 16, 2025, the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, organized the project “Building Strong Foundational Skills for a Confident Start in University Life” for the academic year 2025. The event was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Chaiya Thanapatsiri, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, who presided over the opening ceremony, along with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanat Nontaphut, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Research, faculty members, and first-year students. The event took place at Building 71, the Faculty’s central academic and practical training facility.
The project, held from June 16 to 20, 2025, aims to prepare new students in multiple dimensions—including academic readiness, adapting to university life, and strengthening essential foundational skills for higher education. It marks the first crucial step in building a solid educational foundation and enhancing the potential of Industrial Engineering students to transition into university with confidence. Moreover, the initiative fosters positive relationships between faculty members and students, creating a supportive environment that will drive quality learning and personal growth throughout their academic journey.
