On May 24, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), organized the “Professional Bartender Training Program: Batch 1” as part of the project titled “From Crisis to Adaptation: Enhancing High-Quality Marine Tourism in the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman through Learning Ecosystems, Modern Management, Technology, and Innovation.” The program was officially opened by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thanat Nonthaphut, Vice Dean for Academic and Research Affairs, at the Chantraraksa Conference Room, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, RUTS.
The workshop, held from May 24–25, 2025, covered both theoretical and practical training, including:
- Use of bar equipment
- Cost management in beverage services
- Creative drink menu development
- Standardized cocktail mixing techniques
- Flair bartending performance
Participants received hands-on instruction from two expert trainers:
- Ajarn Kanjanapat Klabtublung, lecturer in Hotel and Tourism, Faculty of Liberal Arts, RUTS
- Mr. Phuripat Buaphan, professional bartender
The primary aim of the training was to develop human capital and cultivate high-potential next-generation entrepreneurs in the coastal tourism sector.
This initiative is part of a broader strategy to enhance the quality of tourism services in the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman regions, ensuring the sustainable recovery and growth of the tourism industry in the post-crisis era.
