FIET Holds Progress Review Meeting for 2025 Internal Research Grant Projects

On May 8, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology (FIET), RUTS, held a meeting to follow up on the progress of research projects funded by internal revenue for the fiscal year 2025, at Meeting Room Thapthim 1, 2nd Floor, FIET Building.

The meeting was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tanat Nontaphut, Associate Dean for Academic and Research Affairs, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jakkrapong Jitjamnong, Associate Dean for Administration and Planning. Researchers and related personnel participated in reviewing progress, exchanging feedback, and fostering collaboration to enhance the quality and impact of the faculty’s research.

FIET has funded five research projects under this fiscal year’s internal grant:

  1. Design and development of floating pellet fish feed detection using machine learning
  2. Development of augmented reality technology to promote Songkhla beach tourism
  3. Development and efficiency evaluation of magnetic circuit and inductance experiment kits integrated with QR technology for electrical engineering education
  4. Development of AR-based instructional innovation for hydropower plant production process simulation
  5. Development of an information system for recording and evaluating student-teacher internship performance

The faculty aims for these projects to generate practical knowledge and innovations that can be applied in real-world contexts and contribute tangible benefits to the community and industry.
