On May 7, 2025, the Petroleum Technology Program organized the “English Competency Development Project in Cooperation with Network Universities” at Classroom 71803. The event was presided over by Asst. Prof. Chaiya Thanaphatsiri, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, who delivered the opening speech. Also in attendance were the Vice Dean for Academic and Research Affairs, the Vice Dean for Administration and Planning, the Program Chair, faculty members, and students.
The project was held with the objective of elevating students’ English proficiency to an international level. The program was honored to have Ms. Kotchaporn Watakee, an executive of the Hatyai Institute of Personality Development and Services, as a special guest speaker. She shared her expertise and techniques for improving English skills, focusing on listening, speaking, and effective communication. The session aimed to build students’ confidence and develop appropriate professional demeanor in global contexts.
