On April 25, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology (FIET) at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV) warmly welcomed a study visit delegation from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), Malaysia. The delegation was received by Mr. Alavee Hazanee, Associate Dean for Student Development, along with faculty members, staff, and students, at the RUTS Economic Development Center.
This study visit was part of the Petroleum Technical Safety Corporation (RUTS & UTP) initiative held from April 25–26, 2025, aimed at fostering academic collaboration, knowledge sharing, and experiential learning in petroleum technology between the two institutions.
During the visit, UTP delegates participated in:
- Demonstrations of petroleum technology equipment and tools, including safety systems in production processes, pressure control mechanisms, and sample analysis.
- Hands-on sessions led by expert faculty members to ensure practical learning and skills development.
- Facility tours and academic discussions, creating a platform for knowledge exchange and international networking.
The atmosphere was both engaging and collegial, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing petroleum technology education and building strong cross-border partnerships.
