On April 11, 2025, the Experiential Training and Co-operative Education Unit of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology (FIET) at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) hosted an orientation for students embarking on their summer internships in Engineering and Technology for the academic year 2023.
The event was chaired by Mr. Alawi Hasan, Vice Dean for Student Development, with Assistant Professor Rithai Phathumthong, Head of the Experiential Training and Co-operative Education Unit, alongside faculty members and students, participating in the session.
The orientation took place from April 11 to April 17, 2025, via Zoom and in Room 71307, FIET, with the aim of preparing students before they begin their internships at partner organizations. The session focused on introducing students to workplace ethics, the importance of adapting to different work environments, professional conduct, responsibilities, and industry standards.
This initiative represents a crucial step in enhancing students’ readiness, not only in terms of technical knowledge but also in developing the necessary skills and attitudes to succeed as professionals in their future careers.
