On April 10, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology (FIET) organized the “FIET Happy Memory Space” farewell ceremony for the graduating students of the Petroleum Technology Program, Class of 2025. The event, which took place at the Chuphan Conference Room, was honored by the presence of Assistant Professor Udorn Namsen, Vice President of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), who officially opened the ceremony. Along with Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanapatsiri, Dean of the Faculty, alumni, faculty members, and the graduating students attended the memorable event.
The goal of the ceremony was to support the students in developing important skills beyond academics. The focus was on personal development, social life skills, and teamwork, while providing them an opportunity to exchange work-related experiences with alumni. The event included discussions on topics such as adjusting to social environments, effective communication, and workplace readiness within the context of industrial education and technology. Additionally, it aimed to inspire students to pursue entrepreneurship with a strong foundation in ethics and morality.
Key activities during the ceremony included awarding honor certificates to outstanding students and appreciation certificates to their advising professors. The program also featured alumni-led talks such as “Creative Ideas and Positive Energy for Career Success” and a session titled “Creating Happiness from Thoughts, Developing Life Skills with Wisdom,” led by the team from Creative Communication for Health Southern (SSS). This segment focused on enhancing life skills and well-being in professional life.
