Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, RUTS, Participates in the University-Level Cooperative Education and Work-Integrated Education Project Competition

On April 8, 2025, students from the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) participated in the University-Level Cooperative Education and Work-Integrated Learning (WIL) Project Competition. The event was officially opened by Professor Dr. Suwatcha Thanarot, the university’s president, with faculty members and students also in attendance at the Sriwisawa Meeting Room, Faculty of Engineering.

The competition featured impressive student projects from various disciplines, divided into two main categories:

  1. Social Sciences, Humanities, and Management
    • Ms. Pimmata Singhakowin, from the Mass Communication Technology Program, presented a project titled “Designing Products from Waste Materials in Factories.”
    • Ms. Usa Yodthong, also from the Mass Communication Technology Program, received an Honorable Mention for her project titled “Developing Video-Based Teaching Media to Improve Business Presentation Skills.”
  2. Cooperative Education Innovations
    • Petroleum Technology Program students presented:
      • “Designing a Sunshade for Pressure Differential Transmitters” by Ms. Somruthai Boonrod and Mr. Thitiphan Petchkarappoom.
      • “Design and Development of a Pallet Removal Tool to Reduce Storage Space” by a team of three members: Mr. Piyavit Poonthong, Mr. Ittipat Thui-on, and Mr. Bukkoree Lhambenza.

Additionally, awards were presented to Outstanding Enterprises, recognizing organizations that support the development of collaboration between the university and businesses.

This event served as an important platform for students to showcase their talents and creativity while applying their academic knowledge to real-world work scenarios, reinforcing the university’s commitment to integrated learning that prepares students for future professional success.
