On March 19, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV) hosted the 2024 Farewell Ceremony, themed “FIET Happy Memory Space”. The event was honored by the presence of Professor Suwat Thanyaros, President of RMUTSV, who delivered the opening speech. Joining him were Asst. Prof. Chaiya Thanapatsiri, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, along with faculty administrators, lecturers, and final-year students of the Class of 2024. The ceremony took place at the Chupan Conference Room, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology.
The primary objective of this farewell program was to equip graduating students with essential knowledge and skills, including personal development, social adaptability, and teamwork. The event also provided an opportunity for students to exchange experiences and career insights with alumni. Key discussions focused on workplace adaptation, communication skills, and preparation for careers in industrial education and technology. Additionally, the program aimed to inspire students to become entrepreneurs while emphasizing ethics and integrity in their professional and personal lives.
The event featured several key activities, including:
- Certificates of excellence presented to outstanding students.
- Appreciation certificates awarded to faculty advisors.
- Alumni panel discussion on the topic “Creative Ideas and Motivation for Career Success.”
- Inspirational talk titled “Happiness through Mindset: Adapting Life Skills with Wisdom”, led by expert speakers from the Southern Creative Communication for Well-being Network (Thai Health Promotion Foundation – ThaiHealth), aimed at enhancing workplace skills and well-being.
Beyond being a celebration of cherished memories, this program served as a platform to inspire students as they embark on their professional journeys. It reinforced a sense of pride, gratitude, and connection to their alma mater, fostering a foundation for lifelong success.
