On March 12, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV) held the first meeting of the Steering Committee for Educational Quality Development and Implementation of the Education Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) for the year 2025. The meeting, presided over by Associate Professor Chaiya Thanapatsiri, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, took place in the Thapthim 1 meeting room of the faculty.
During the meeting, the committee reviewed and planned the implementation of the EdPEx criteria, a standard for educational quality assurance designed to enhance operational excellence and elevate the quality of education. This initiative aligns with the university’s commitment to quality assurance based on the ASEAN University Network Quality Assurance (AUN-QA) framework. As per the resolution of the RMUTSV University Council Meeting No. 226-4/2023 on April 27, 2023, the committee approved the adoption of the EdPEx system for quality assurance starting from the 2023 academic year, aiming to improve education quality at the faculty, college, and university levels.
This meeting marks a key step in advancing educational quality development and ensuring readiness for the implementation of excellence-driven academic standards in the future.
