Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology Enhances Teaching Competencies for First-Year Students

On March 12, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV) organized the Professional Competency Development Program for Future Teachers, specifically designed for first-year students. The event was officially opened by Asst. Prof. Chareefa Hadi, Assistant Dean, and was attended by faculty members and students from the Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, and Electrical Engineering programs. The session took place at the Chuphan Meeting Room of the faculty.

The highlight of the program was a keynote lecture by Mr. Anuphat Sae-Chun, a faculty member from Songkhla Technical College, who provided expert insights on “Roles and Responsibilities of Procurement Management in Educational Institutions.” The session emphasized the importance of asset and resource management within schools, particularly in handling educational materials, budgeting for procurement, and monitoring institutional assets. The discussion also focused on efficient inventory management, financial planning, and compliance with procurement regulations, which are essential skills for working in educational institutions and other organizations.

This initiative aims to equip future educators with essential professional skills by offering industry-driven knowledge and practical insights into school asset management and procurement processes. By integrating expertise from industry professionals, the program serves as a crucial step in enhancing students’ professional competencies, preparing them to navigate real-world challenges in their future careers.
