On March 5, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV) organized the 12th session of its professional competency development program for second-year students. The event, titled “Enhancing Professional Teaching Competencies,” was presided over by Associate Professor Dr. Narongrit Senajit, Deputy Head of the Professional Experience Training Unit. Faculty members and students from the Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, and Electrical Engineering programs participated in the event, which took place at the university’s multipurpose building.
The program featured a keynote lecture by Dr. Methee Ditsawat, a faculty member in the Educational Assessment and Research program at Thaksin University. His lecture, titled “Classroom Research for Student Development,” aimed to enhance participants’ understanding and skills in conducting classroom research—an essential process for improving teaching methods and elevating learning quality. The session covered key aspects such as research planning, data collection, result analysis, and professional research presentation.
Participants gained valuable insights and inspiration from the speaker’s extensive experience, which will be instrumental in their academic work and future efforts to enhance student development. This initiative is part of the faculty’s ongoing commitment to fostering educational excellence and raising awareness of the significance of classroom research in driving sustainable improvements in education.
