Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology Organizes the 12th Professional Competency Development Project for Second-Year Students

On March 5, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), organized the 12th Professional Competency Development Project under the theme “Teacher Professional Competency Enhancement” for second-year students. The event was presided over by Asst. Prof. Dr. Narongrit Senajit, Deputy Head of the Professional Internship Unit, with participation from faculty members and students from the Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, and Electrical Engineering programs. The project took place at the Multipurpose Building, RUTS.

The session featured a lecture by Dr. Methee Dissawat, Lecturer from the Department of Evaluation and Research, Faculty of Education, Thaksin University, on the topic “Classroom Action Research for Learner Development”. The lecture aimed to enhance students’ understanding and skills in conducting classroom action research—a crucial process for improving teaching methods and elevating the quality of learners’ education. The content covered various stages, including research planning, data collection, data analysis, and professional presentation of research findings.

Participants gained invaluable knowledge and inspiration from the speaker’s firsthand experience, which will significantly benefit their academic work and future careers in education. This project serves as a vital initiative in fostering the potential of educational professionals and raising awareness of the importance of classroom research in promoting sustainable educational development.
