Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology Organizes the 12th Professional Competency Development Project for First-Year Students

On March 5, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), hosted the 12th Professional Competency Development Project under the theme “Teacher Professional Competency Enhancement” for first-year students. The event was opened by Asst. Prof. Rittai Pratumthong, Head of the Professional Internship Unit, with participation from faculty members and students from the Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, and Electrical Engineering programs. The event took place at the Multipurpose Building, RUTS.

The project featured a lecture by Ms. Laorsri Chaiphong, a Senior Professional Teacher from Songkhla Technical College, on the topic “Roles and Responsibilities in Curriculum Management”. The lecture aimed to enhance participants’ understanding of curriculum roles and responsibilities, along with guidelines for effective curriculum development that aligns with educational institution requirements and labor market demands. The speaker shared valuable knowledge and experiences to help participants apply the concepts in their academic and professional work.

This activity was organized to prepare first-year students with essential professional skills and competencies required for their future teaching careers. The knowledge gained from the session is expected to be applied effectively in their studies and work, contributing to the development of professional curriculum management personnel. The project marks another significant step in promoting student capacity-building in the field of education and curriculum development.
