The Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) organized a professional competency development program for first-year students. The event, titled “Enhancing Teacher Competency,” was opened by Assistant Professor Rittai Prathumthong, Assistant Dean, and took place at the Chuphan Conference Room at the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology.
The program featured distinguished speakers, including Khun Nayanoon Nuntaput, Head of the Dean’s Office, and Assistant Trainers Ms. Rathairat Suwanreungsri, Head of Administration and Planning; Ms. Fareeda Hemchud, General Administration Officer; Ms. Chutathip Dammak, Educational Scholar; and Ms. Thanitta Churats, General Administration Officer. They provided valuable insights into the topic of “Effective Writing of Official Documents and Correspondence.” The focus was on helping students understand the correct format and process for writing official letters, along with providing tips on drafting effective responses for various scenarios, ensuring students can apply these skills in their future careers.
The initiative aims to prepare first-year students for their journey as educators by developing key professional skills early on, especially in areas such as writing official documents and creating teaching materials. These foundational skills are crucial for their future roles as teachers, enabling them to apply their knowledge effectively in the workplace.
