On February 14, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) held a meeting to review the structure and details of the revised Bachelor of Technology program (RUTS02) in Mass Communication. The meeting was chaired by Associate Professor Dr. Poon Suk Udom, an expert in the field, and attended by Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanapatsiri, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, along with program heads and faculty members of the Mass Communication department. The meeting took place in the Tapthim 1 conference room on the second floor of the RMUTSV’s Faculty building.
The primary goal of this meeting was to update the curriculum to ensure its alignment with technological advancements and the rapidly changing media landscape in the digital age. This update is in accordance with the Higher Education Commission’s announcement on the Standards for Bachelor’s Degree Programs, particularly Section 16, which mandates that every program be updated annually to reflect modern developments.
This curriculum revision represents an important step in producing graduates who are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and expertise needed to succeed in the fast-paced and ever-evolving mass communication industry. The updated program is expected to be available for student enrollment in the near future.
