Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology Hosts Second Reviewer Training Course to Support the Tourism Industry

On February 10, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya held a hands-on training workshop for the second cohort of the Reviewer Course. The event was inaugurated by Associate Professor Chaiya Thanapatthasiri, Dean of the Faculty, with the participation of faculty administrators, at Room 71305, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology.

The training took place from February 10-11, 2025, under the project “From Crisis to Adaptation: Developing High-Quality Tourism in the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea through Ecosystem-Based Learning Systems, Modern Management, Technology, and Innovation.” The project aims to elevate Thai tourism, and the Reviewer Course is part of Activity 8: “Developing Human Resources for Tourism.”

Participants gained valuable insights from expert speakers and influencers, including Associate Professor Chakkrit Kaewprasert, Head of the Mass Communication Technology program, and famous influencer Karnchanok Wongwattanakul, who shared their expertise on content creation and communication.

The training covered key topics, including:

  • Modern Communication on TikTok: Learning strategies and techniques for creating engaging content on TikTok, a popular platform to effectively reach target audiences.
  • Content and Storytelling: Practicing skills in content creation and storytelling to attract attention and engage audiences.
  • Storytelling for Public Relations: Learning how to present information and tourism stories in interesting and creative ways.
  • Video Shooting and Editing with Smartphones: Hands-on training in professional video production and editing using smartphones to create high-quality content.

In addition to lectures, participants engaged in practical workshops to apply what they learned and receive personalized guidance from the instructors. This course focuses not only on technical skills but also on creating quality and ethical content to promote Thailand’s tourism image. It aims to empower aspiring reviewers to build a solid foundation and progress to a professional level in the industry.
