Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology Launches Curriculum Revision Project for Bachelor of Technology in Mass Communication

On February 6, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, organized a curriculum revision project for the Bachelor of Technology program in Mass Communication. The event was led by Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanapatsiri, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, who officially opened the project. Associate Professor Dr. Thanat Nonthaputh, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Research, provided the objectives of the initiative.

The event featured distinguished experts such as Dr. Tree Booncheu, Director of the Complaints and Consumer Protection Office in Telecommunications, and Assistant Professor Sermsak Khunpon, Assistant Dean for Research and Academic Services, as guest speakers. The faculty management, program heads, and instructors in the Mass Communication Technology department also participated in the event, which was held at the Ruby 1 Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology.

The main focus of this project is to update the curriculum to keep pace with rapidly changing technologies, enhancing students’ skills and knowledge in mass communication to prepare them for professional careers in related industries. The curriculum revision is part of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya’s ongoing effort to develop quality graduates who are competitive both domestically and internationally, while meeting the evolving needs of society in the future.
