Workshop on Providing Guidance and Support to Individual Learners

January 25, 2025 The Student Development Division of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, RUTS, organized a workshop to enhance skills in providing effective guidance and emotional support to individual learners. The event, held at the Chuphan Conference Room, was attended by faculty members from the Student Development Division and student leaders from the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology.

The workshop aimed to develop the ability to provide high-quality, systematic counseling to help students effectively manage academic and personal challenges. The goal is to build confidence and guide students through obstacles, enabling them to overcome difficulties successfully.

Key Sessions at the Workshop:

  1. “Communication Techniques for Building Confidence and Being a Good Counselor”
    Dr. Phichamanchu Boonsit, Lecturer in Social Sciences, Culture, and Human Development at Prince of Songkla University, shared valuable insights on effective communication in counseling.
  2. “Developing Soft Skills for Student Leaders with a Foundation of Public Spirit”
    Dr. Witoon Mettajit and his team facilitated a session focused on developing soft skills and cultivating a public spirit through meaningful activities.

This training marks a significant step in enhancing the potential of student leaders and faculty members in the Student Development Division. The goal is to empower them to effectively serve as advisors and sources of support for individual learners, fostering long-term, positive impact.
