January 19, 2025 The Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), led by Asst. Prof. Chaiya Thanaphatsiri, Dean of the Faculty, along with faculty executives and staff, participated in the “Ministry of Labor Meets the Public 2025” event. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Pipat Ratchakitprakarn, Minister of Labor, accompanied by senior executives of the Ministry, at the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, RMUTSV.
The event was also honored by the presence of Mr. Chotinarin Kerdsom, Governor of Songkhla Province, Mr. Boonsong Thapchaiyuth, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Labor, Mr. Santi Nantasuvarn, Inspector-General of the Ministry, and Mr. Jirawat Maneechoti, Deputy Governor of Songkhla, along with other high-ranking officials from labor-related agencies.
This initiative aims to integrate collaboration among the Ministry of Labor’s agencies in Songkhla, government and private sector networks, and provide proactive labor services to job seekers, employers, employees, insured individuals, unemployed persons, students, and the general public in Songkhla and surrounding areas.
Key activities included a job fair with over 1,000 job openings, social security services, health check-ups, diabetes screenings, flu vaccinations, and occupational rehabilitation programs. Additionally, the event featured skill development workshops for self-employed workers, income-generating training under the “One Subdistrict, One Occupational Group” concept, and entrepreneurial promotion initiatives aligned with the “Sufficiency Economy Philosophy for Sustainable Labor Development.” Academic services on occupational safety were also provided.
The “Ministry of Labor Meets the Public 2025” event reflects the Ministry’s commitment to enhancing labor services and ensuring accessibility for all, preparing the workforce for rapid economic and industrial transformations in the digital age. The event welcomed all interested individuals throughout the day, offering valuable services and information to improve the quality of life and career opportunities for Thai workers.
