On January 17, 2025, the Student Development Division of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya organized a workshop focused on providing quality counseling and support for individual students. The event was officially opened by Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanapatsiri, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, alongside faculty members, staff, and students, at the Chupand Meeting Room of the faculty.
Mr. Alawi Hasan, Deputy Dean for Student Development, highlighted that the purpose of the workshop was to enhance skills in counseling and supporting students individually, which would help improve their ability to cope with challenges in both their academic and personal lives. The aim was to offer quality, systematic counseling to boost students’ potential.
The workshop also featured discussions on topics such as “Building a Positive Mindset and a Good Relationship Between Students and Advisors,” with expert speakers Dr. Witthurae Mettajit and Dr. Pronthep Chantrakamol, lecturers in the Department of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Human Development at the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Prince of Songkla University. Additionally, the session on “Counseling Techniques and Building Positive Energy for Individual Students” was led by Dr. Phichamanch Boonsit and Ms. Suwibah Poa, who shared their experiences and knowledge in fostering positive relationships between students and academic advisors. This helps to cultivate a positive attitude towards self-development, leading to success in both education and future life endeavors.
