On December 24, 2024, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) held an important meeting to certify organizations responsible for verifying the competency of individuals based on professional standards in the fields of energy and renewable energy. The meeting, led by Associate Professor Chaiya Thanaphatsiri, Dean of the Faculty, along with administrators, faculty members, and representatives from TQPI, took place at the Tapthim 1 meeting room.
The key agenda of the meeting was to report on the results of individuals who took the professional standards exam in energy and renewable energy professions for the fiscal year 2024. Additionally, the meeting discussed the expansion of certification for organizations responsible for verifying the competency of individuals in these professions, with a focus on the field of solar photovoltaic energy. This includes professions related to the sales of solar power systems (Qualification Levels 4 and 5) and the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar power systems (Qualification Level 5).
The meeting reflects RUTS’s commitment to enhancing professional standards in energy and renewable energy to develop a skilled workforce that meets the needs of the energy industry in the future, ensuring long-term sustainability.
