On November 28, 2024, the Petroleum Technology Program held a Freshman Orientation for Cooperative Education Students at Room 71803, 8th Floor, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology. The purpose of the event was to thoroughly prepare students before they begin their cooperative education internship at actual workplaces.
The ceremony was opened by Associate Professor Dr. Thanat Nonthaput, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Research. The orientation aimed to provide essential information and ensure students are fully prepared for their cooperative education experiences.
Ms. Panatda Solas served as the speaker and covered key topics, including:
- Objectives of Cooperative Education: To help students understand the goals of their internships, focusing on integrating the theoretical knowledge they have gained into real-world applications.
- Evaluation Process: To explain the criteria, methods, and assessment formats, ensuring students understand how to appropriately conduct themselves during the internship.
- Rules and Job Details: To clarify the rules, regulations, and job scope for cooperative education students, including how to report on their work progress.
- Work-Integrated Learning: Emphasizing the importance of applying knowledge and skills gained from the internship to further develop oneself for real-world work.
