Mechatronics Engineering Robotics Design Competition for Education

On the morning of November 1, 2024, the Mechatronics Engineering Program organized a Robotics Design Competition for Education. The event was presided over by Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanaphatsiri, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, who delivered the opening remarks. Also in attendance were Assistant Professor Dr. Jakkrapong Jitjamnong, Vice Dean for Administration and Planning; Associate Professor Dr. Tanat Nontaphut, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Research; Mr. Alawi Hasani, Vice Dean for Student Development; along with program heads, faculty members, and mechatronics engineering students. The event took place at Room 71602, 6th Floor, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology.

Hands-on Training Activities

The competition featured three main training sessions:

  1. Principles of Designing and Building Educational Robots in Mechatronics Engineering
  2. Design and Assembly of Control Systems for Robot Applications
  3. Technical Drawing and Fabrication of Mechatronics Engineering Components for Robot Hardware Assembly

Additionally, the Robotics Design Competition for Education was held as part of the event.

This competition aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, design, and innovation. It also provided hands-on learning experiences through Active Learning methodologies and fostered teamwork among participants.
