On September 11, 2024, at room 71602, 6th floor of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology Building, the Automatic Robot Club, under the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology Student Union, organized the 8th Automatic Robot Training and Contest. The event was inaugurated by Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanaphatsiri, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, who presided over the opening ceremony.
The purpose of this event was to develop programming skills for controlling automation systems using LEGO Education SPIKE, while also encouraging participants to showcase their innovative abilities in robotics through the competition. A total of 50 participants attended, consisting of 30 students from the faculty and 20 external personnel.
The main activities included training sessions on “Assembly and Control of Small Robot Movements” and “Programming Automation Control Systems,” along with practical exercises to experiment with the movement of small robots. Additionally, there was a line-following robot contest, with six participating teams: two teams from Chaeng Wittaya School, two teams from Nawaminthrachinuthit Thaksin School, and two teams from the Mechatronics Engineering program.
This event aimed to enhance technical skills, teamwork, and unity, while also fostering dedication and commitment to the teaching profession. It garnered great interest and provided valuable learning experiences for all participants.
