On September 5, 2024, at the Red Mill, Hup Ho Hin, Nakhon Nok Road, Mueang District, Songkhla Province, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), participated in the 3rd Workshop on Developing a Model City for Cultural Arts in Old Town Songkhla.
The ceremony was attended by Mr. Wanchai Parinyasiri, Mayor of Songkhla City, and Assistant Professor Udon Namsen, Deputy Rector of RUTS. The Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology was represented by Mr. Alawi Hassan, Associate Dean for Student Development, along with Mr. Methas Thepphaiphun and Mr. Ranchakorn Janjampha, lecturers from the Mass Communication Technology program. They participated in the signing ceremony for the delivery of project outputs for the cultural arts model city in Old Town Songkhla.
The deliverables included a brochure on “Immersive Art” to be used as information for cultural tourism in Old Town Songkhla. This is part of the collaborative effort to promote and further develop the region’s cultural arts to enhance its growth and prominence.
