August 23, 2024 – The Electrical Engineering program at the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, organized its annual merit-making and Teacher’s Day ceremony on the 7th floor of the Faculty building. Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanaphatsiri, Dean of the Faculty, presided over the event, which was attended by faculty members of the Electrical Engineering program, administrative staff, and students.
The ceremony began at 10:00 AM with the dean lighting incense and candles to pay respects to the Triple Gem. This was followed by a Buddhist ritual where food offerings were made to the monks and a blessing of the program’s sign. Students then recited the Teacher’s Day prayer and presented floral garlands to the faculty members. Sacred threads were tied and blessings were given to the students. The ceremony concluded with the dean and the head of the Electrical Engineering program offering words of encouragement to the students.
