Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, RUTS, Organizes Robot Design and Construction Competition Applying Control Technology

On August 19, 2024, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, through the Mechatronics Engineering Program, organized a robot design and construction competition applying control technology. The event was presided over by Mr. Alawi Hasani, Assistant Dean for Student Development at the Faculty, who delivered the opening speech, along with the program’s faculty members, at Room 604 of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology building.

The competition aimed to integrate academic knowledge with technology in teaching and learning. It included designing and assembling the hardware structure of robots, creating control programs for automated systems, applying them to solve industrial problems, and designing and assembling control circuits and pneumatic systems for machine control. The main highlight of the event was the competition in robot design and construction, where participants applied automatic control technology.

The event was attended by students from three technical colleges: Hatyai Technical College, Songkhla Technical College, and Songkhla Technology College. The project provided an excellent opportunity for students interested in pursuing further studies in mechatronics engineering, as well as for industrial technology instructors, to gain hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of the field.
