Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, RUTS, Organizes Class to Work Platform Workshop to Foster Practitioner-Based Entrepreneurs in Technology and Innovation

On August 15, 2024, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) launched a project to develop the Class to Work Platform, aimed at nurturing practitioner-based entrepreneurs in technology and innovation. The event was presided over by Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanapatsiri, Dean of the Faculty, and was attended by academic and support staff, as well as the organizing committee. The workshop was led by Mr. Boonrat Boonratsamee, Deputy Director of the Office of Innovation Management and Technology Transfer, RMUTSV, and took place from August 15 to 16, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM at the Chuphan Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Building 71, RUTS.

Associate Professor Dr. Thanat Nontaphut, Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Research, explained the objectives of the project, which are to equip students with practitioner-based entrepreneurial skills in technology and innovation, develop the Class to Work Platform, and enhance the technology and innovation ecosystem. The project aims to support entrepreneurs and students in acquiring skills necessary for practitioner-based entrepreneurship in these fields.

The workshop was attended by 50 participants, who were provided with training in developing the Class to Work Platform through a series of practical sessions. These sessions included group brainstorming and hands-on workshops covering topics such as the Entrepreneurship Mindset, Design Thinking, Value Proposition, Business Model Canvas, and Pitching Techniques. Participants learned how to systematically approach business creation and entrepreneurship, integrating this knowledge into both academic learning, extracurricular activities, and organizational management.
