On July 30, 2024, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RMUTSV) held a workshop on “Network Management for Business and Coastal Tourism.” The workshop was officially opened by Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanapatsiri, the Dean of the Faculty, at the Chupan Conference Room, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology.
The event, scheduled from July 30-31, 2024, included practical sessions on various topics such as basic network design and security, and network design using Cisco Packet Tracer. Additionally, participants were divided into groups to engage in hands-on practice on the topic “Professional Network System Installation and Security Management,” led by experts Assistant Professor Sompong Kaewwang, Head of the Telecommunication and Network Systems Program, and Mr. Witoon Khongphon, a lecturer in the same program.
The workshop attracted a large number of vocational certificate (Vocational Education Certificate – VEC) students from Songkhla Technical College. The primary aim of the event was to enhance participants’ knowledge and skills in network management and design, thereby contributing to the security and stability of network systems in business and coastal tourism. This is a crucial aspect of regional economic development and promotion.
