วันที่ 12 พฤษภาคม 2569 หลักสูตรสาขาวิชาทคโนโลยีปิโตรเลียม คณะครุศาสตร์อุตสาหกรรมและเทคโนโลยี มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัย เดินหน้าพัฒนาศักยภาพนักศึกษาสู่เวทีสากล จัดโครงการพัฒนาศักยภาพและทักษะการสื่อสารด้านภาษาอังกฤษของนักศึกษาในยุคดิจิทัล โดยส่งนักศึกษาเข้าร่วม “กิจกรรมที่ 2 การอบรมให้ความรู้ด้านภาษาอังกฤษ” ณ Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS ประเทศมาเลเซีย ระหว่างวันที่ 11 พฤษภาคม – 1 มิถุนายน 2569 เพื่อเสริมสร้างทักษะภาษาอังกฤษ ควบคู่การพัฒนาความรู้วิชาชีพด้านอุตสาหกรรมพลังงานและวิศวกรรมปิโตรเลียมในระดับนานาชาติ
การดำเนินโครงการครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงการขับเคลื่อนยุทธศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยด้านการพัฒนากำลังคนสมรรถนะสูง (High Competency Workforce) และการยกระดับการศึกษาสู่มาตรฐานสากล โดยมุ่งผลิตบัณฑิตที่มีทักษะการสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษ สามารถประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีและองค์ความรู้เฉพาะทาง เพื่อตอบสนองต่อการเปลี่ยนแปลงของอุตสาหกรรมพลังงานและเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัลในอนาคต
สำหรับการอบรมครั้งนี้ ได้มีการออกแบบหลักสูตรอย่างเข้มข้นที่บูรณาการทั้งด้านภาษาอังกฤษและองค์ความรู้เฉพาะทางด้านปิโตรเลียม ประกอบด้วย Core Language & Safety Communication ระหว่างวันที่ 12–17 พฤษภาคม 2569 เน้นการใช้ภาษาอังกฤษในบริบทวิชาชีพ การเรียนรู้คำศัพท์เฉพาะด้านน้ำมันและก๊าซ (Oil & Gas) การสื่อสารด้านความปลอดภัย (HSE) และการจำลองสถานการณ์บนแท่นขุดเจาะ Technical English & Professional Communication ระหว่างวันที่ 18–24 พฤษภาคม 2569 มุ่งพัฒนาทักษะการอ่านรายงานทางเทคนิค การเขียนอีเมลและคู่มือการปฏิบัติงาน การนำเสนอข้อมูลทางเทคนิค ตลอดจนการทำงานร่วมกันเป็นทีมในประเด็นด้านอุตสาหกรรมปิโตรเลียมระดับโลก Fundamental Petroleum Engineering ระหว่างวันที่ 25–31 พฤษภาคม 2569 ศึกษาความรู้พื้นฐานด้านวิศวกรรมปิโตรเลียม อาทิ คุณสมบัติของหินและของไหลในแหล่งกักเก็บ (Reservoir) การประเมินชั้นดิน (Well Logging) ระบบการผลิต และเทคโนโลยีการสำรวจทางธรณีวิทยา
นอกจากนี้ โครงการยังสอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDGs) โดยเฉพาะ SDG 4 ด้านการศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพ ในเป้าหมายย่อย 4.4 ที่มุ่งเพิ่มจำนวนเยาวชนและผู้ใหญ่ที่มีทักษะด้านเทคนิคและวิชาชีพที่จำเป็นสำหรับการจ้างงาน และ SDG 4.7 ที่ส่งเสริมให้ผู้เรียนได้รับความรู้และทักษะเพื่อรองรับการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน รวมถึง SDG 17 ด้านความร่วมมือเพื่อการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน ผ่านความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างสถาบันการศึกษาระดับนานาชาติ เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นักศึกษาได้เรียนรู้ในบริบทสากลและเสริมสร้างเครือข่ายทางวิชาชีพในอนาคต
โครงการดังกล่าวนับเป็นอีกก้าวสำคัญของมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคลศรีวิชัย ในการพัฒนาศักยภาพนักศึกษาให้มีความพร้อมทั้งด้านภาษา วิชาชีพ และทักษะแห่งศตวรรษที่ 21 เพื่อก้าวสู่การเป็นบัณฑิตนักปฏิบัติที่มีคุณภาพ สามารถแข่งขันได้ในระดับนานาชาติอย่างยั่งยืน
Petroleum Technology Program Advances Students’ Global Competencies through International English Communication Skills Development Collaboration
On May 12, 2026, the Petroleum Technology Program, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, continued its mission to enhance students’ global competencies by organizing the “Digital Era English Communication Skills Development Program.” As part of the initiative, students participated in “Activity 2: English Language Training Program” at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS from May 11 to June 1, 2026. The program aims to strengthen students’ English communication skills alongside professional knowledge in the fields of energy and petroleum engineering at the international level.
This initiative reflects the university’s strategic direction in developing a High Competency Workforce and elevating education to international standards. The program focuses on producing graduates equipped with English communication skills who are capable of applying technology and specialized knowledge to respond effectively to the rapidly changing energy industry and future digital economy.
The training program has been intensively designed to integrate both English language development and specialized petroleum engineering knowledge. The program consists of three main modules:
Core Language & Safety Communication (May 12–17, 2026)
This module emphasizes English communication in professional contexts, including Oil & Gas terminology, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) communication, and simulated offshore drilling platform scenarios.
Technical English & Professional Communication (May 18–24, 2026)
This module focuses on developing skills in reading technical reports, writing professional emails and operational manuals, presenting technical information, and collaborating in teams on global petroleum industry issues.
Fundamental Petroleum Engineering (May 25–31, 2026)
Students gain foundational knowledge in petroleum engineering, including reservoir rock and fluid properties, well logging evaluation, production systems, and geological exploration technologies.
In addition, the project aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, especially Target 4.4, which aims to increase the number of youth and adults with relevant technical and vocational skills for employment, and Target 4.7, which promotes knowledge and skills necessary for sustainable development. The initiative also supports SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through international academic collaboration, providing students with opportunities to learn in a global context while expanding their future professional networks.
This project represents another significant milestone for Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya in preparing students with language proficiency, professional expertise, and 21st-century skills, enabling them to become high-quality practical graduates who are capable of competing sustainably at the international level.
