On June 2, 2025, the Student Union of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology organized a collaborative activity with the Women\u2019s Community Enterprise of Huakhao Subdistrict under the \u201cKru Raja Asa Community Development Project\u201d \u2013 Episode 9: \u201cSingora Colors: The Story of Natural Dyeing\u201d<\/em>, held at the Women\u2019s Community Enterprise in Huakhao Subdistrict, Singhanakhon District, Songkhla Province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event emphasized hands-on learning integrated with the preservation of local wisdom. Students actively participated in all stages, from preparing natural dyeing materials and fabric dyeing to managing the production process and co-creating artistic products with the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project was led by the president of the Faculty\u2019s Student Union and its committee members, who fully engaged in every step of the activity. The aim was to enhance experiential learning outside the classroom and to develop interdisciplinary skills in collaboration with the local community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, the Student Union of the Faculty of Architecture also joined the project, contributing their expertise in textile pattern design. Their involvement brought diversity, beauty, and future market potential to the fabric products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was honored by the presence of Asst. Prof. Alawi Hasani, Associate Dean for Student Development, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, who actively participated in the dyeing activities alongside students and community members\u2014fostering a truly collaborative learning environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the community\u2019s side, Mrs. Peeranet Bunnasit, President of the Women\u2019s Community Enterprise, played a key role in sharing knowledge and closely supervising the production process, reinforcing the community\u2019s role as a vital learning hub for students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The ninth installment of the \u201cKru Raja Asa Community Development Project\u201d<\/em> marks a significant step in bridging academic knowledge with local development. It promotes creativity, knowledge exchange, and sustainable collaboration between the university and the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
