On April 24, 2025<\/strong>, Associate Professor Chaiya Thanaphat Siri<\/strong>, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology at Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS), participated in the \u201cRetreat Strategy 9 RMUT\u201d<\/strong> activity at Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa<\/strong>, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. He joined Professor Piamsak Menasewet<\/strong>, Chairman of the University Council, the council committee, and university executives in a strategic meeting with the network of Rajamangala University of Technology (RMUT) institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over 300<\/strong> executives, faculty, and members of the university council from all 9 RMUT universities<\/strong> attended the meeting, where they received key policy guidance from the Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation (MHESI)<\/strong>, Ms. Supamas Isarapakdee<\/strong>, under the concept:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGood Learning, Happiness, and Income \u2013 Focusing on Good Research and Innovation Aligned with Needs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The policy focuses on the development of students in all dimensions, along with the enhancement of the higher education system through four main strategies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Reform education using AI<\/strong> and Metaverse<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Increase employment opportunities for graduates through a systematic Job Fair<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Develop curricula to meet the demands of industry<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Modernize the academic system to be more transparent<\/strong>, agile<\/strong>, and efficient<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    During the activity, the university council members of the 9 RMUT institutions presented the \u201cWhite Paper on RMUT Strategy\u201d<\/strong> to the Minister of MHESI to reflect the role of universities in driving the country through six target industrial clusters, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • EV<\/strong> (Electric Vehicles)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • AI<\/strong> (Artificial Intelligence and Smart Technologies)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Semiconductors & Advanced Electronics<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Medical Industry<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Energy Transition<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Smart Cities for Sustainability<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      The Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology (FIET)<\/strong> at RMUTSV will apply the policies and strategies received to further develop curricula, teaching methods, and produce high-quality graduates who are ready to work and meet the needs of the country\u2019s manufacturing sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      \u201cWe will leave no one behind, moving forward with the 9 RMUTs with purpose and sustainability.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
