On February 17, 2025, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, led by Mr. Alawi Hasan, Assistant Dean for Student Development, along with faculty members from the Department of Mass Communication Technology, welcomed Prime Minister Ms. Paetongtarn Shinawatra during her visit to the Old Town of Songkhla, ahead of the Cabinet meeting to be held on February 18.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During this visit, the Faculty presented the use of Augmented Reality (AR) technology as part of a creative project aimed at promoting tourism in Songkhla’s Old Town. The AR platform was introduced to enhance the Songkhla Street Art tourism experience, providing visitors with engaging, informative, and valuable experiences in a new and interactive format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event reflects the collaboration between the government and the education sector, emphasizing the role of technology as a tool for developing and preserving the cultural heritage of Songkhla.
