On August 3, 2024, the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology conducted a training and development project focused on innovating the production process of Khanom Kho Phid (a traditional Thai dessert) to enhance vocational skills within the community. This was part of Activity 3.1, which involved follow-up, evaluation, and lesson extraction from the knowledge management process. The event was presided over by Assistant Professor Chaiya Thanapatsiri, Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, at Wat Changhlon School in Kuha Tai Subdistrict, Rattaphum District, Songkhla Province.

The project was funded by the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) and led by Assistant Professor Kritsada Kongpoon. The main objectives were to promote, support, and develop vocational skills for the underprivileged and disadvantaged, enabling them to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for employment, fostering self-reliance in their livelihoods, and elevating the production process and recognition of Khanom Kho Phid within the community.

During the results reporting meeting, participants reviewed and analyzed the knowledge management outcomes, exchanged insights, and evaluated the project’s progress. Representatives from the Equitable Education Fund (EEF), Rattaphum District, Kuha Tai Subdistrict Municipality, Rattaphum Community Development, Wat Changhlon School, and other contributing organizations attended the meeting to support the project’s successful completion. The event also featured knowledge-sharing activities with network partners and the distribution of tools and equipment to the participants.
