On July 24, 2024, the Electrical Education Club of Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya (RUTS) organized a free electrical appliance repair service at the RUTS Walking Street within the university grounds. The event garnered significant interest from the community, students, and the general public. The club offered repair services for various electrical appliances and showcased the creation of electrical devices such as outdoor power sockets and control circuits. Additionally, the club collaborated with local communities and schools to develop and install electrical lighting systems and CCTV cameras, as well as providing electrical system consultations for those interested.
This initiative is part of the club’s efforts to promote electrical engineering knowledge and skills within the community while offering RUTS students hands-on experience. It provides an excellent opportunity to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, further strengthening the relationship between the university and the local community.
